**Job Title: Lead Painter**
**Job Description**
This role leads day-to-day industrial painting operations on structural steel using a high-pressure pot liquid painting machine. You ensure high-quality finishes by reading blueprints, following work procedures, and overseeing the full painting process from priming and undercoating to final top coat application. You also provide leadership on the floor, coordinate work according to schedules and specifications, and support a safe, efficient painting environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate a high-pressure pot liquid painting machine to apply primer, undercoating, and top coat finishes to structural steel components.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and work procedures to ensure painted parts meet design, quality, and customer specifications.
