Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials at central, provincial, and local levels—especially in Shanghai and Guangdong—to promote a positive corporate reputation and advance business interests.
Monitor, assess, and proactively manage geopolitical risks and developments (e.g., trade tensions, sanctions, regulatory shifts) that could impact the company’s operations and strategy in China.
Lead advocacy on laws, regulations, policies, and standards affecting the company, including but not limited to trade, nutrition, labeling, product claims, packaging, and environmental compliance.
Proactively identify and secure government support, incentives, and subsidies for investments, business transformation, and M&A activities.
Secure timely government approvals, licenses, and permits to enable business operations across manufacturing, EHS, import/export, logistics, and retail.
