Strong knowledge of metallurgical principles for designing optimum alloy compositions, heat treatment cycles, and hot working sequences.Ability to meet mechanical property requirements as per customer specifications and international codes/standards for heavy forgings used in critical applications.2. Hands-on experience with metallurgical aspects of steel making, hot forging sequences, and heat treatment for heavy forgings such as: ASME Sec IIA grade thick forgingsRotor forgings for power generationHeavy forgings for other engineering applications3. Additional Material Knowledge
Exposure to non-ferrous and exotic materials will be an added advantage.4. Failure Analysis
