Summary The Lead Medical Supply Technician (MST) works in support of the Sterile Processing Service (SPS) management team with Minneapolis VA Healthcare System, located in Minneapolis, MN. The Lead MST distributes and prioritize workload among Medical Supply Technician employees in accordance with established workflow and/or job specializations, to complete tasks in a timely accurate manner. Responsibilities The Lead MST is responsible for all activities that occur in the department during their tour of duty. This includes receiving instruments, trays, etc., processing through decontamination, assembly, sterilization and building case carts. The Lead MST will serve as the subject matter expert to guide staff through the proper procedures.
