**Job Description Summary**
The Lead Manufacturing Engineer supports the design, sourcing, and production of complex aerospace components and assemblies for Edison Works Advanced Programs. In this role, you will drive design for producibility, reduce manufacturing cost and risk, and ensure our suppliers and internal shops can deliver safely, on quality, on time, and at cost.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

+ Leads efforts with Design Engineering to implement “Design for Producibility” for new parts and assemblies.
+ Provide detailed should-costs for components, assemblies, fabrications and tooling. •
+ Assists Edison Works Supply Chain in program reviews to ensure manufacturing considerations are addressed.
+ Proactively engage OV and internal shops to ensure program metrics of cost, quality and delivery are met.
