**SUMMARY OF POSITION:**

The Lead Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist provides daily oversight for the collection, processing and delivery of all specimens flowing into the laboratory. Additionally this individual facilitates education, training, problem solving, and serves as a resource for communications with other health care providers.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent required.
+ Two years experience working in a clinical laboratory environment with preference to the technical lab/phlebotomy setting required.
