Summary The Lead Histopathology Technologist works in the Laboratory of Syracuse VAMC and serves as an expert providing authoritative advice and consultation for difficult, complex, or unique tests requiring special knowledge. Advises all organizational levels on various aspects of specialized testing including appropriateness that takes into consideration clinical context. Responsibilities The Lead Histopathology Technologist must possess broad knowledge of biological sciences and skills necessary to process anatomic pathology specimens.
