Power Your Future with Qualus in our T&D business as a Substation Lead Engineer. This position is hybrid and based out of Vancouver BC. This role involves the design and execution of high‑voltage substation projects from conception to construction. The Senior Engineer, Substations will lead engineering design efforts, coordinate with multiple disciplines, oversee procurement and construction activities, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform engineering design on 12 kV to 500 kV overhead and underground transmission and substation projects from the conceptual design stage through construction.

Develop one‑line & phasing diagrams, layout plans, sections, ground grid layouts, grounding details, conduit & cable routing plans, and details.
