Lead Baker/Kitchen Lead - Bagels & Pizzabagels
We've built a kitchen team of 5 people and sell thousands of bagels and pizzabagels each weekend. Now I (the founder) have to do way too much computer stuff to keep growing the business, and I can't work in the kitchen much anymore.
Can you step in and take my place? We'd be happy to pay above-market $$$ for someone who can do this job as good - or even better! - than me.
Here's the job:
1. Most important: baking the bagels . We bake Saturday & Sunday in the early morning. If we screw this up... well, this is the one thing we can't screw up! You need at least a bit of bread experience.
2. Rolling the bagels. We roll before the weekend, and the dough cold proofs for 1-2 days. We can easily teach you this, especially if you have experience shaping dough. We have several team members who roll bagels already.
3. All the other prep work, also...
