Position Overview
Law Clerk I - Washington, DC (Remote/Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of a Supervisory Paralegal or a Project Supervisor.
- Perform complex legal research for the trial staff.
- Assist in preparing draft legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and memoranda of law.
- Review documents for relevance and privilege; assist attorneys with all phases of litigation.
Required Skills:
- Relativity experience is a must.
- Sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and resources.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; thorough knowledge of legal research tools like LEXIS and Westlaw.
- Hands-on familiarity with computer applications, including word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and imaging.
