Position Overview
Responsibilities - Sort soiled linens and guest garments according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements.
- Operate washers, dryers and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Fold, hang or package clean items as per standard procedures.
- Inspect items for damage or stains and report any issues to the Supervisor.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning agents and chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
- Assist in the delivery and collection of laundry items to and from guest rooms, departments or designated areas.
- Support inventory counts and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Follow all hygiene, safety and infection control protocols.
- Handle guest laundry requests with care and attention to detail.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.
