Job Summary:
The Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual to be responsible for the performance of all duties related to the handling and processing of the hospital linen. The laundry staff perform related duties associated with collection, processing (weighing & recording) distribution of soiled and clean linens and personal clothing. The laundry aide works with all members of the laundry department to provide excellent patient, staff care and support services. The work requires some physical dexterity as it requires walking, long periods of standing, bending, sitting, some lifting, pushing, pulling of carts and use of arms for folding.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or GED preferred

• Ability to read, write and speak English and to be understood effectively.

• Ability to work individually and as part of a team environment.
