Job Overview

Perform production work on the laser loading and unloading parts and running the machine safely and efficiently under the supervision of the Laser Operator #1 or a lead person. Will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to Laser Operator #1 classification.


A Day In The Life


+ Read and understand blue prints and routings and produce parts from the information obtained from them to the required tolerances.

+ Responsible for the quality of the parts being produced and perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality.

+ Responsible for laser scale/burr removal on low quantity parts.

+ Take care of routine maintenance and keep the work area clean and neat.
