Job Description

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.

Work site environment: Dusty. Hot. Noisy.

Work setting: Metal product fabrication industry.

Responsibilities

• Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications.
• Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
• Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.

Required Experience

• Metal forming or shaping operations experience: Bending, Cutting machine.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.

Transportation / Travel Information

• Own transportation. Own vehicle. Public transportation is not available. Valid driver's licence.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Attention to detail.
