POSITION SUMMARY
The ED charge nurse is responsible for assisting current staff with managing patient flow and helping care for patients being held in the emergency department, assisting with transfer requests to other facilities, and performing all duties related to mixing medications that cannot be stored in the RX station since we will no longer have house supervisors or full-time pharmacists.
