PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The Department of Governing Bodies (GBS) serves as WHO's central platform for advancing strategic governance and multilateral engagement. It provides high‑level political and strategic support to Member States, maintains the institutional memory of WHO's governing bodies, and ensures the effective functioning of the World Health Assembly, the Executive Board and related processes.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

• Proofread documents, reports and graphics to ensure consistency with originals, correctness of grammar, spelling, style, references and cross‑references.
• Check proofs of publications after layout for correct page design, font choice and appropriate layout in both source and target languages.
