Reporting to the Manager - Labour Relations, the Labour Relations Officer is responsible for the effective administration of labour and employee relations within a complex, multi-union healthcare environment. The incumbent supports management to ensure consistent application of collective agreements, promote positive relationships with union representatives, assist with resolving labour disputes, and provide education to build capacity among managers. The incumbent exercises independent judgement in determining work priorities, methods, and actions on unusual matters, and functions in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Southern Health-SantΓ© Sud.
