Pipe Fitter

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using cement, glue, or other method.
2. Dig trenches to desired or required depths, by hand or using trenching tools.
3. Cut, align, and position pipes to prepare them for sealing.
4. Perform traffic control safety and flagging when needed.
5. Learn to check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers.
6. Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
7. Safely operate equipment as needed to meet production goals.
8. Other duties the Project Foreman deems necessary to remain productive on the job site. M5 does require all applicants to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
