Perform chemical testing and recordings as per APHA, EPA or ASTM standards.
Perform laboratory analysis to monitor water quality from all stages of the treatment process.
Perform laboratory analysis of quality of chemicals purchased for use in the plant.
Prepare and replenish all chemicals used & standard solutions for analysis.
Upkeep of daily analysis results and ensure that the results are accurate and submitted on-time.
Investigate and report all atypical, anomalous and out- of-specification results to superior.
Conduct proper and periodic maintenance of laboratory equipment and ensure all equipment are calibrated according to manufacturer's requirement; maintain proper housekeeping complying with EHS requirement.
Liaise with and manage sampling and analysis undertaken by third party laboratories.
Accept ad hoc assignment given by managers.
