Summary

AGAT Laboratories is currently hiring for an entry-level Laboratory Technician C that has some basic laboratory experience. In this position, the successful candidate will be able to work effectively as part of a team to carry out a variety of sample analysis methods, and will also be able to work independently on laboratory activities. This position will be working in our Mining Geochemistry Lab in Calgary. Our team is currently seeking technicians who are available for afternoon/evening and weekend work. This role will be contractual and is ending September 30th 2026 .

What you will be doing

• Perform basic laboratory procedures including sample weighing.
• Carry out our standard procedures for geochemical analysis of soil, rock and ore samples.
• Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning work stations and waste disposal.
