Job Description:
SUMMARY
The Laboratory Technician I is responsible for preparing the laboratory
classrooms and demonstrations in accordance to lesson plans, assisting in the
troubleshooting of equipment and software to meet the needs of the lesson plan
and appropriate clean up after the lesson has concluded. Ultimately, ensuring
the laboratory is secured, equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored
properly.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares classroom laboratory workstations with the necessary materials and apparatus to perform experiments Sets up and prepares experiments and demonstrations for classroom use Arranges supplies and equipment as laboratory requirements changeMaintains and cleans the laboratory, stockroom, equipment and glasswareFills tubes, bottles and containers with specified solutions/materials and applies identification labelsProperly disposes of laboratory waste ma...
