Position Overview
Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted
Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics
Certifications Required: ASCP (MLT, MLS, MT)
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Chemistry, Hematology, Coag, and Body Fluid Analysis
Ratio / Census: Facility averages ~5,000 tests per day
Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Hitachi (Required), Sysmex XM (Required), Roche Cobas (Required)
Scrub Color: Teal
RTO: MAX 7 days
RTO Blackout Dates: Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere
Floating: Yes, within facility/scope of practice as needed; possibly to Piedmont Augusta Summerville (3 miles from Main Augusta Campus)
Call Requirements: None
Holidays: If one major vacation falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays....
