**Description**

This position will participate in directed research projects overseen by a supervisor. Candidate may participate in a variety of research activities as needed, including lab-based pathogen surveillance, molecular assays, animal husbandry for model organisms, and computational data analyses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Performs routine laboratory and general clerical tasks necessary for daily operation of laboratory.
+ Collects, prepares, cleans and stores glassware and other lab equipment.
+ Stocks and prepares media, reagents, chemical solutions and stains.
