Job Responsibilities
Provide primary care and immediate response in first aid, initial assessment of incidents or ailments, patient stabilization, transfer decision (hospital/IMSS) – does not replace hospital care, only stabilizes the patient.
Conduct occupational health surveillance and medical examinations: pre‐employment (if applicable), periodic (according to risk), return to work.
Monitor general illnesses that impact work, occupational diseases.
Risk prevention (STPS code), identification of health risks.
Evaluate workplace conditions: ergonomics, lighting, work‐related stress, and provide control recommendations.
Manage incident and accident processes: accident registration, cause investigation, trend analysis.
Lead health and wellness programs such as health campaigns, vaccinations, basic checkups, prevention of diabetes and hypertension.
