Job Location: Robinson, IL Hourly Rate: $28.25 The Backup Lab Tech will: * Log daily micro and analytical samples to be tested in the Robinson Micro lab. * Log Environmental Micro Monitoring Program (EMMP) samples into the database. Perform routine and non-routine swabs generated by the EMMP program. * Prepare media * Manage the Allergen Verification program by monitoring production schedules, collecting samples, logging them, and submitting them for analysis in partnership with QA Specialists and Line Supervision. * Preparing and shipping samples to external labs as needed. * Serve as Relief Technician for Micro lab as needed. * Keep inventory and replenish expendable lab supplies in an economically prudent manner. * Perform and maintain records of all quality testing in the micro lab. * Perform and record all laboratory daily checks accurately and in a timely manner. * Maintain laboratory and equipment in a neat and orderly manner at all times. * Support ISO 17025 accreditation and...
