Description

Wheeler Machinery in Salt Lake City is hiring a full-time Lab Tech 1. This role is responsible for intaking and registering samples, performing assigned daily tasks, and supporting the analysis and recommendations provided to customers. The Lab Tech 1 plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our testing processes.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

+ Retrieves mail and shipments of samples.
+ Collect lab samples from shop, shipping, and parts locations across the campus.
+ Sort and register samples into electronic systems to track corresponding lab data.
+ Perform laboratory tests and procedures under the supervision of senior lab staff.
+ Adhere to compliance, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
+ Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
