KOBE Safe Sober Sites is seeking a Youth Residential Worker to facilitate detoxification for youth in Thunder Bay. Be an essential part of their supportive recovery journey while maintaining safety.
As a Youth Residential Worker, you will work closely with the Safe Sober Site Lead and Inquest Manager. Your role will involve implementing detox services, supervising students, and tracking care plans. Close communication with the Health Service Provider and KOBE Well-Being Team is fundamental for effective service delivery and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a culturally safe atmosphere for students
• Stay in touch with KOBE On-Call Workers as needed
• Partner with Health Service Providers for treatment adherence
• Provide comprehensive reports on health services delivered
• Facilitate after-care communication among families, students, and schools
