We have an exciting opportunity for a HCSW/Phlebotomist to join our team working 30hours per week. The post holder will be required to work over Monday to Friday and includes working public holidays.

Applicants must be enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed to providing a high standard of safe and effective service delivery. They must also have a genuine interest and knowledge of mental health conditions.

As part of this role, you will be required to be trained and experienced in venepuncture using the vacutainer system to obtain blood samples, communicate regularly with patients over the telephone, arranging appointments, liaising with the Community Mental Health Teams and the pharmacy department with in Royal Cornhill Hospital.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision. Strong computer and keyboard skills are essential, and evidence of effective communication and problem solving.
