Casual Kiwifruit Laboratory Technicians carry out routine kiwifruit maturity testing on samples on behalf of our client Zespri to determine if samples meet minimum clearance criteria and assess fruit quality.

Our busiest period is mid-March till end of April, therefore you need to be available to work through Easter & Anzac.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that all operations are carried out efficiently, to meet demands as set by the Manager
• Gathering of technical data and/or samples for the following activities, making sure both production and quality standards are met at all times in relation to:
  • Maturity Monitoring
  • Residue sampling
  • Maturity Clearance
