Position Overview
Kitchen Equipment Repair Technician
The position provides equipment maintenance, installation, and repair services, involving several craft skills (including electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and refrigeration) necessary for the upkeep of campus dining and support facilities. May be assigned to evening or weekend schedule.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Maintains, diagnoses, and repairs a variety of major appliances and related equipment in kitchens such as walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, ice makers, ovens, food mixers, salad cutters, food carriers, compactors, electric ranges, dish-washers, scales, steamers, food fryers, steam kettles, steam tables, food warmers, softeners, and various other parts and components as necessary.
