Assist all Cold Kitchen Chefs in performing general food preparation tasks
Cross checking and scrutinizing menu items against finished product to ensure accuracy and completeness, including verifying any special requests (eg. Vegetarian, special diet requirements) are adhered to and confirming that all necessary items are included
Inspecting and garnishing dishes for visual appeal, proper temperature and food quality standards, including checking for correct garnish, portion sizes and presentation
Sequencing and prioritization of packing completed dishes to ensuring freshness and food quality
Communicating with different kitchen work stations, relaying information, updates, special requests and potential delays
Problem solving when issues arise, including missing items, incorrect orders or delays, requiring quick thinking and effecting communication
