Key expert 2: Development Financing expert (about 820 days)

The project aims to support selected municipalities in KwaZulu-Natal, Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo in addressing key service delivery challenges through smart, green, and digital solutions. The intervention will focus on strengthening climate resilience, improving sustainable water, energy and waste management services, enhancing municipal capacities, and supporting South Africa’s Just Energy Transition and District Development Model initiatives.

The intended start date is October 2026, with an implementation period of 48 months.

Qualifications and skills

1. Educational Qualifications Required: Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Finance / Investment banking or Economics.
2. A bachelor’s degree with an additional 5 years general professional experience may replace the Master’s degree.
