Core purpose of the role

The Key Accounts Manager: Rent-a-Car is required to create and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers that result in the acquisition and growth of RAC share in the market and retention of customers as well as meet or exceed New Business Targets set for individual.

Key deliverables and outputs Revenue Management Plan approach to meet annual forecasts in line with the KPI’s and business objectives/goals Achieve and grow rate per day and billed days as per target for car rental Assist Credit Control Department in collection of overdue payments in line with portfolio target set Evaluate pricing to ensure that it meets the company’s profitability targets and present to the customers Grow revenue in line with business targets (for RAC) Identify new business opportunities via different channels i.e. direct, Travel Management Company (TMC), website, cold calling tools, referrals, general media, Government Tender media as well as meet or e...
