Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and execution of authentic Italian dishes in line with established recipes and standards
- Support daily kitchen operations including mise en place service and closing procedures
- Supervise kitchen team members and ensure efficient workflow during service
- Maintain high standards of food quality taste and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene and HACCP standards
- Assist with inventory control ordering and minimizing food wastage
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff promoting skill development and teamwork
- Ensure proper use care and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Step in to lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Sous Chef
Qualifications
- Minimum 23 years of experience in a similar role within an Italian restaurant
