Position Overview
A hands-on accounting role covering the full spectrum of retail finance across 3–4 stores and head office functions.
Key Responsibilities - Manage day-to-day accounting for 3–4 retail stores, including sales reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable
- Record journal entries and prepare monthly financial statements
- Prepare monthly P&L reports per store and consolidated management reporting
- Process and manage payroll for all staff across stores and head office
- Track and manage cheque payments, mall rent schedules, and landlord invoicing across all locations
- Maintain and monitor all trade licences, permits, certifications, and renewal calendars
- Coordinate with PRO and operations team on government and regulatory filings
- Support budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis
- Liaise with external auditors during the annual audit process
