Responsibilities

As a Machinery Control System Engineer (MCS) you will support lab and shipboard activities for a ship sustainment program for our U.S. Navy customer. Work alongside U.S. Navy government and civilian engineers at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance, installation, and testing support activities for the land-based test site as well as occasional shipboard support for installation upgrades and ship force tech assist.

+ Provide software investigation and technical support for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Industrial Control System (ICS) environments. Responsibilities include integrating software solutions with operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6, RHEL 8, and Windows 11.
+ Support graphical user interface (GUI) integration and development using Java 8 and OpenJDK 11.
