Hire Resolve’s client in the packaging industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Junior Buyer to join their team in the Cape Town, Western Cape.
Responsibilities
Assist the Senior Buyer in sourcing goods and services for our clients Evaluate and compare vendor proposals and select the best value option Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers and vendors to ensure that the best possible deal is obtained Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure that all relevant documentation is accurate and complete Monitor supplier performance and ensure that all deliveries are made on time and at the agreed price Resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise with suppliers, vendors, or clients Maintain and update purchasing records, reports, and price lists Requirements
