We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant / Financial Assistant to join a Accounting practice.

Salary: R16 500 – R25 000 per month.

Key Responsibilities: Preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE, UIF and SDL returns via South African Revenue Service e Filing Monthly PAYE reconciliations and EMP501 submissions Processing of individual, company and CC income tax returns, including submission of financial statements Accounting processing up to trial balance Compiling of Annual Financial Statements on Draftworx Handling SARS queries, correspondence and supporting documentation Managing u Filing submissions Ensuring FICA compliance in line with the Financial Intelligence Centre Act Client communication, phone handling and general administration Pastel Partner, Xero, Sage online and Greatsoft program knowledge
