Jr. Sous Chef – Pastry
Job Responsibilities
Assist the Head Pastry Chef in daily pastry and bakery operations.
Prepare pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, viennoiserie, and bakery items as per brand standards.
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of products.
Handle production planning and inventory control for pastry ingredients.
Maintain hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness as per SOPs.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff and commis chefs.
Monitor wastage control and cost management.
Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams for smooth functioning.
Ensure timely preparation for bulk orders and store requirements.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 4–8 years of experience in Pastry & Bakery operations.
Experience in premium bakery, café, QSR, or hospitality brands preferred.
Good knowledge of breads, desserts, chocolates, and cake production.
