Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Junior Mechanical Design Engineer who will support our development of new and existing products. Conducts feasibility studies and testing new and modified designs. Evaluates existing mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging processes to enhance performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Oversee detailed design activities, testing procedures, and prototype development.

JOB ROLE:
Work on complex mechanical designs for the Electron Microscopy Technologies (EMT) products.

Attend online meetings, design reviews, and other online activities on the Pacific Coast (PST) time zone.

Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.

Participate in VAVE (Value Analysis Value Engineering).

Break down difficult technical concepts and communicate with team members.

Conduct design reviews at peer, program and upper management levels as needed.
