Absolute Solar is seeking a State of Michigan licensed Journeyman electrician with experience in residential and commercial buildings, and direct solar energy experience is not required. This Journeyman Electrician is responsible for helping to teach NEC wiring methods and code compliance, as well as overseeing the assigned electrical apprentices' work when on a job site. It is the Journeyman's responsibility to maintain a cohesive work environment and ensure each project is successfully completed. The position requires a strong background in the electrical field, basic construction knowledge, and leadership skills. It is the Journeyman’s responsibility to help oversee and lead the apprentice team, and ensure each apprentice is equipped with the right tools, materials, and knowledge to efficiently complete each project to our industry leading quality standards and our clients' satisfaction.
