The selected candidate will play a hands-on senior technologist/lead role in the design, development, and modernization, and support of State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation applications. In addition to the development of new applications and tools, the candidate will provide technical expertise for modernization efforts of Java and .NET applications, such as upgrading Java versions, migrating the identity provider, accessibility upgrades, and transforming legacy applications to microservices. We are looking for someone with strong experience in Java, C#.NET, ASP.NET, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, full lifecycle testing, microservice architecture patterns, and Agile project management methodology.
