Java Consultant Brussels A leading professional services firm is looking for a Java Technical Analyst to combine hands-on development with technical leadership on a legacy modernisation programme. What you'll do: Lead Java modernisation initiatives, including JBoss/WildFly upgrades, Spring Boot migrations (Spring 56, javaxjakarta), and RichFaces to PrimeFaces transitions Architect scalable, secure Java solutions and define technical standards for the delivery team Manage and mentor nearshore/offshore Java developers; conduct code reviews and establish quality gates Oversee CI/CD pipeline integration and coordinate integration of code produced by delivery centres Note: this is legacy migration work, not greenfield development What you'll bring: 4+ years of professional Java development experience Proven experience managing distributed (nearshore/offshore) development teams Strong command of Spring ecosystem, JPA/Hibernate, and JBoss/WildFly Hands-on experience with javaxjakarta namespa...
