Job Description

In this position, the applicant will join the IT Vendor Management team to perform sourcing, contract negotiations and vendor management functions. The role reports into the Head, Vendor Management Office within the Information Services division. The IT Vendor Manager will source for IT products/services, negotiate contracts, manage the commercial relationship with vendors, and collaborate with stakeholders to establish on‑going outsourcing governance. The role provides opportunity for direct interaction with senior management in business, IT, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that procurement and vendor management objectives and KPIs are achieved.
• Evaluates vendor base for cost savings opportunities; monitors and analyses trends in company spending in order to make recommendations for the future, and to identify areas for possible savings.
