The IT Support Intern will provide technical and administrative support to the IT department by assisting with IT helpdesk queries, managing company devices and IT assets, supporting procurement processes, and maintaining digital platforms such as SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI, and AI systems. The role also includes supporting IT operations, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and ensuring accurate IT documentation and asset management.
Responsibilities:
Provide first-line IT support and assist users with hardware, software, and system-related issues.
Manage company cellphones and related administration on the Vodacom Portal.
Maintain and update IT asset registers, including users, storeroom assets, and vendor deliveries.
Assist with IT asset disposals and ensure accurate record keeping.
Manage the IT Helpdesk by logging, tracking, and processing IT support queries.
