Responsibilities As an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN), GS-2210-12, you will develop, modifie, and test overall system backup and recovery strategies for all systems. Serve as the technical expert and focal point for installation, configuration and testing of hardware and software associated with multiple operating systems and computer platforms. Provide technical assistance and analysis to other IT personnel involved in system design, programming, database performance, and adapting commercially available software. Determine equipment requirements, communications, and interfaces with other systems.
