Job Description
This project is justified by the growing need for a more precise, scalable, and efficient way for engineering and planning teams to assess localized electric load and prepare for future system impacts driven by electrification, DER adoption, economic growth, and large customer interconnections. Existing approaches are fragmented and make it difficult to quickly translate AMI, connectivity, and service to point data into actionable planning insights. By providing a single internal tool to analyze coincident peak load, visualize aggregated load behavior, and generate exportable forward-looking forecasts for selected geographic areas, the MVP will improve planning effectiveness, support more informed infrastructure decisions, and establish a practical foundation for broader enterprise forecasting capabilities.
