The role of IT Hive Virtual Administrator supports and maintains the integrated IT program, working with systems engineers and architects to design, build, and support a streaming and messaging platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for storage, performance tuning, and volume management of Hadoop clusters.
• Deploy Hadoop clusters, add and remove nodes, monitor critical components, configure name‑node high availability, schedule backups, and maintain job tracking.
• Install and configure software, apply patches, and upgrade systems as needed.
