Hays are partnering with a public sector organisation in Gloucester to recruit for an IT Deployment Team Leader vacancy on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. The role is paying c£40k + benefits and offering hybrid working arrangements 4 days in office 1-day WFH.

Your new role

The main focus of the role is to lead the IT deployment / desktop team that is responsible for the organisation's IT equipment estate. The team look after imaging and asseting new and existing stock, deploying hardware and owning the IT lifecycle of equipment. You’ll be involved in the day-to-day management of the deployment engineers, providing direction, training, appraisals and one-to-ones. Technical knowledge will be beneficial as you may act as an escalation point - however, this isn’t essential.
