Responsible for the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems including water conservation. Additionally, performs routine cemetery services specialist duties. Maintains tools and equipment in working order.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Irrigation**

+ Monitor, inspect, maintain, and repair irrigation systems. Adjust watering schedule seasonally to optimize water conservation. Repair valve box as needed. Operates hand and mechanical tools to repair or replace lines and sprinkler heads taking care to gently remove sod for replanting. Monitors and adjusts sprinkler heads to minimize overspray. Escalate issues to supervisor.
+ Prepares irrigation systems for adverse weather conditions to prevent breakage. Inspects and repairs after weather events.
+ Notifies manager when workload is light and volunteers for additional work.
